Red Flag , Terms of Use
Last updated: 27 September 2026 · Version: 2026-09-27
These terms apply to Red Flag, the community warning board on MonstersGate at /red-flag ("Red Flag"). They add to the general MonstersGate Terms and Conditions; where the two differ on anything about Red Flag, these terms win. By reporting a company, adding "same happened to me", replying for a company, or using Red Flag in any other way, you accept these terms.
1. What Red Flag is , and what it is not
1.1. Red Flag is an information reference. It lets verified members share their own experiences of working with companies, so others can make informed choices before starting work.
1.2. Red Flag is not a court, an arbitrator, a debt collector, a regulator, a consumer-protection authority, a law-enforcement body, or an official complaints service. MonstersGate does not decide who is right in a dispute, does not enforce payment, and does not act on anyone's behalf against a company.
1.3. Nothing on Red Flag is a legal finding, an accusation by MonstersGate, a rating of a company by MonstersGate, or professional, legal or financial advice. A published case means only that a verified member made that report and that an admin saw proof supporting it before publishing it.
1.4. If you need a legal remedy, contact a lawyer or the competent authorities. Using Red Flag does not replace, pause or start any legal process.
2. Who may post
2.1. To report a company or add "same happened to me" you must have a MonstersGate account with a verified email, a verified identity, and an account older than the minimum age shown on the report page.
2.2. You may file one case per company. Add later facts to that case as updates.
2.3. Only people approved to speak for a company may reply, appeal or settle on its behalf. Claiming to represent a company you do not represent is prohibited.
3. Your responsibility for what you post
3.1. You are solely and fully responsible for everything you post on Red Flag: the report, updates, "same happened" submissions, replies, appeals, messages and files. MonstersGate is not the author of member content and does not adopt it.
3.2. You confirm that everything you post is true, accurate, based on your own direct experience, and that you can support it with the proof you attach.
3.3. You must not post:
anything false, exaggerated, misleading, or guessed;
insults, threats, harassment, hate speech, or statements about anyone's motives;
personal data about any individual (home addresses, ID numbers, private phone numbers, family details, photos of people) beyond what is strictly needed to identify the company;
confidential information you are bound not to disclose (for example under a signed NDA), trade secrets, or other people's copyrighted material;
content posted to pressure, extort, or take revenge on a company or a person, or on behalf of a competitor;
anything unlawful where you or the company are located.
3.4. You will indemnify and hold harmless MonstersGate, its owners and staff against any claim, loss, damage, fine or cost (including reasonable legal fees) arising from what you post or from your breach of these terms.
4. Review before publishing
4.1. Admins check each case and each "same happened" submission against the proof supplied before it becomes public. This check is a reasonable-effort review of whether the account appears supported; it is not an investigation, a verification of every fact, or a guarantee of accuracy.
4.2. Admins may approve, reject, edit the category of, or ask for more proof on any submission, and may remove any content at any time, with or without notice, including content that was previously approved.
4.3. The public timeline records who spoke (as "Verified member", the company, or "Admins") and what kind of proof was reviewed. The proof files themselves are never published.
5. Anonymity
5.1. Reporters are shown publicly as "Verified member". MonstersGate knows who you are and may disclose your identity where required by law, a court order, or a lawful request from a competent authority, or to defend itself against a legal claim arising from your content.
5.2. The company learns your name or contact details only if you choose to share them during a settlement.
6. Companies
6.1. A company can claim its page by confirming a work email on its own domain, or through admin review.
6.2. Approved representatives can reply publicly, appeal a case they believe is false, open a private resolution with the reporter, and ask admins to mediate. They cannot edit or delete cases, see who reported them unless the reporter chooses, or mark a case resolved themselves.
6.3. A company that believes content is false or unlawful should use the appeal on the case, or contact MonstersGate support. MonstersGate will review each request and decide, at its discretion, whether to keep, correct or remove the content.
7. Settlements
7.1. Any settlement is between the reporter and the company only. MonstersGate is not a party to it, does not hold or transfer money for it, and does not guarantee that either side keeps its promises.
7.2. A case is marked resolved only by the reporter, or by admins after mediation. Resolved cases stay visible, marked resolved.
8. Removal, suspension and changes
8.1. MonstersGate may remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts that break these terms or the general MonstersGate terms.
8.2. MonstersGate may change or discontinue Red Flag, or change these terms, at any time. The version you accepted is recorded with each report; continuing to use Red Flag after a change means you accept the new version.
9. No warranty, limited liability
9.1. Red Flag is provided "as is". MonstersGate makes no promise that any content is accurate, complete or up to date, or that Red Flag will be available without interruption.
9.2. To the fullest extent the law allows, MonstersGate is not liable for any decision you make based on Red Flag content, or for any loss arising from content posted by members or companies.
10. Contact
Questions, legal notices, or requests to review content: contact MonstersGate support through the site's contact details, and include the case number (for example "Case #142").
