The brief

LicenPro is a SaaS project specialized in software license management and protection. It aims to provide an integrated system for managing Software Licenses, Activations, Sessions, users, products, and releases, with support for different licensing models such as Node-Locked, Subscription, Trial, Floating, and Concurrent, in addition to supporting both Offline and Online Licensing.

I am currently looking for Software Testers to join the project as collaborators and help test the system and identify issues before upcoming releases.

Scope & requirements

Tester Role

Your primary role will be to test the system from the User and Business perspective, ensure that the Features work as expected, and try to discover unexpected scenarios and Edge Cases.

Expected Responsibilities

  • Test the Dashboard, APIs, and Licensing workflows.

  • Test the creation and management of products, licenses, and users.

  • Test Activation, Deactivation, Sessions, and Heartbeat.

  • Test different license types and scenarios such as Expiry and Revocation.

  • Write Test Cases and Test Scenarios.

  • Clearly report Bugs with reproduction steps.

  • Test Edge Cases and try to break the Business Logic, not just verify that the Happy Path works.

  • Collaborate with Developers to clarify issues and retest them after fixes.

Collaboration Type

The collaboration will be Part-time / Freelance, but the main idea is that you will not be just a Tester from whom we receive a bug report.

We are looking for someone to be a QA Partner with us at LicenPro, contribute to improving the product, discuss the Business Logic, suggest new scenarios, and always try to look at the system from the User's perspective and discover issues before they reach Production.

Requirements

  • Practical experience in Software Testing / QA.

  • Good understanding of Manual Testing concepts.
